Wine List

At la Vista we celebrate the region we live in and enjoy. So, when the time came to choose a signature wine, what better way to honour our fertile wine country than choosing a local wine. Local vineyard Andersons Wines produces a superb Leto Venus Sauvignon Blanc.

Says winemaker Anton Smal, “This unusually large moth, the Leto Venus, breeds in the soft trunk of the Keurboom tree, in the picturesque area of Plettenberg Bay. It is here, in this unique area, that the Sauvignon Blanc grapes enjoy the cool sea breezes of the Indian Ocean, soft rolling mists as well as the warmth of the sun, all combining in ripening them to perfection. This white wine displays nuances of passion fruit, green melon and white pear. It has a wonderful vibrancy with a fresh balanced limey finish. A complete wine with dimensions of flavour.” Bon appetite!
